The Ware Family Association has scanned and printed copies of The Butler Grove Township Genealogy, compiled by Amelia Westcott in 1947. Westcott collected genealogical and historical information about most of the families who first settled in Butler Grove Township (Montgomery, County, Illinois) in the early 1800's. The book has 93 pages, including a 2-page index. Each original book was hand-copied by Westcott in her careful, legible script. Our reproduction includes a cover page and a page of photographs from the WFA archives.
